Laser Therapy
Laser therapy is an effective pain-free way to treat musculoskeletal conditions. It has been known to help with general pain as well as swelling, injuries, arthritis and postoperative wounds.
Spinal Decompression Therapy
Computerized Spinal Decompression Therapy also known as non-surgical decompression works by gently stretching open the spinal joints. It is an effective therapy option helping patients who suffer from debilitating pain due to bulging, degenerating or herniating discs. It is also very effective in pain management and treatment for sciatica, nerve root compression/irritation and worn out spinal joints.
Conditions Treated
Having a problem is not a requirement for seeking chiropractic treatment. Prevention is the best cure, which our team can gladly help coach the best active lifestyle. However, life can be busy and the human body may need some attention. Because of this, we treat many physical woes such as muscle and nerve pain ( ie: sciatica), spinal or joint issues, and injuries (including repetitive wear, such as carpal tunnel).
We also welcome all ages and all walks of life from office workers to weekend warriors to amateur and professional athletes.

Meet the Active Health Team

Dr. Sean Starr, DC

Health, movement, and performance have always been a part of Dr. Sean Starr’s life. Growing up in Victoria, BC, he spent most of his time on the field, the ice, or the course—playing soccer, hockey, golf, baseball, and training in the gym. It was through these sports that he first discovered how much proper movement, strength, and injury recovery can impact not only performance but also quality of life.
That passion eventually led him to Portland, Oregon, where he studied at Western States University and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2004.

Dr. Sean Renshaw, DC

Our health is often undervalued until our daily lives are impacted and patients then look to 'Get Well' as fast as possible. Dr. Renshaw believes there is a difference between relieving symptoms and achieving optimal health. If your visit is inspired by a recent accident or over-work, his first goal is to help you 'feel better' ASAP. If you then choose to minimize or eliminate the cause of your aches and pains, Dr. Renshaw is committed to creating a unique partnership with you and supporting you in your path to wellness.

This led him to become Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Level 2 Medical Certified, and he now uses TPI assessments to identify the areas where people
could move better and stronger for a more optimal golf swing for their body. Book in for a golf specific assessment today!
Dr. Baldigara also treats all day-to-day ailments and his appointments often include adjusting/manipulation, soft tissue techniques, cupping, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), and exercises that are often from the Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) school of thought.
